Criminal Justice 2 (Period 2nd) Assignments

This class studies the pretrial process, the trial and sentencing phase in the first semester, and also participates in a mock trial. The rest of the year covers police investigative tactics including examination of forensic investigative techniques including DNA and fingerprint techniques. This class also takes a field trip to the Memphis Police Academy. 

 

We have explored the pretrial process, and are now examining the criminal trial procedures used in American law. There will be a test on this next week, and preparations will then be made to conduct a Mock Trial in class before moving to examine the sentencing procedures of our legal system. There will be a test on the trial process on September 29th, and a quiz on the vocabulary the week of October 3rd.
