First MODE essay: 400-500 word Argument Essay. After reading argument essays in the Bedford Reader and Language of Composition books, craft an argument essay with the thesis statement in the first paragraph. The essay should follow the classical organization on the side board and have a variety of appeals (logos, ethos, pathos). The essay does not have to represent a proposition of policy.
