Students began Lab Safety today in class by completing their Guided Notes as I went through a Powerpoint.

 

They then divided into groups of 3 and were given different lab scenarios and had to point out what was wrong with their scenario.

 The students signed up for Remind, and they were shown how to navigate my website to find their assignments and resources.

 

The students drew a picture on a piece of copy paper that represented what they thought Chemistry is the study of.

After drawing their pictures, the students watched a video:  "What is Chemistry?" (The video can be found under the Tab on the right hand side of the home page that says, Videos)
