AP Environmental Science (Period 7)

Course Description

AP Environmental Science (APES) is an interdisciplinary course that encompasses biology, chemistry, geology, earth science, and geography. 

The goal of APES is to provide students with scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies necessary to understand the complex relationships of the natural world, identification and analysis of environmental problems (natural and man-made), evaluation of the relative risks associated with these problems, and the examination of alternate solutions for resolving or preventing these problems.
