Meet Dr. Filsinger - Assistant Principal:
Dr. Lora Filsinger is beginning her 3rd year in administration at Bartlett High School. Before becoming an assistant principal at BHS, Dr. Filsinger spent 7 years teaching Accounting I, Accounting II, Principles of Business, and American Business Legal Systems and serving as the varsity girls’ basketball head coach at the high school level. Dr. Filsinger received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Rhodes College, where she also served as a captain on the women’s basketball team. She earned a Master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Memphis and a Doctorate degree in Education with a specialization in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University. Her current responsibilities at Bartlett High School include 11th and 12th grade discipline, teacher evaluations, transportation coordinator, and healthy school team leader. Outside of BHS, Dr. Filsinger enjoys spending time with family and her beloved dogs, engaging in outdoor activities, and officiating high school basketball and women’s collegiate basketball.
