Mock trial is sponsored by the Bar Association of Shelby County and the Tennessee Bar Association. Students in teams of approximately compete in mock trial competition with other High Schools in Shelby County both public and private. Competition is in February of each year. Students spend the year before studying civil procedure, and the rules of mock trial. Cases are written by the members of the state bar association and have approximately two months to prepare their case.
