Welcome Juniors - Class of 2018!!
I am VERY EXCITED to be your counselor again this year and am looking forward to helping you in any way I can. This is my 9th year at Bartlett High School and I LOVE being a panther! Please note that I will be out of the office on maternity leave until Thanksgiving. Until then, Mrs. Ross will be available to assist both students and parents. Mrs. Ross may be reached at 373-2620 ext. 260 or email@example.com.
A little bit about me: I received both my bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols) and am a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am a Bartlett resident, have been married to my wonderful husband TJ for 6 years, and together we have 2 sons, Sam and Hank. Being a mom has been my greatest blessing and I always try to treat my students with the same love, respect, understanding, and high expectations as I do with my boys.
As most of you know, the guidance office is located in the A Building, 2nd floor. My office is the 3rd door on the right. If I am unavailable to meet with you when you come, please sign the book outside my door and I will call for you. Parents, if you need to contact me or schedule a parent/teacher conference, feel free to call or email me.
As your school counselor, I am here to assist you in academic advising and assistance, college/career readiness and any personal/social issues you may be facing. I am here to help you and expect you to follow the 3 rules of self: self-control, self-reliance, and self-advocacy. Control your behavior, own your due dates and mistakes, and ask for help from your teachers (and me).
I encourage each of you to give your all for Bartlett this year by joining a club, playing a sport, and/or volunteering in our community. See me if you’d like some suggestions for community service right here in Bartlett.
Let's have a GREAT year!
