CTE Health Science with Mrs. Whitmore-High

WELCOME!
I am so glad to work with all of you this school year! Together we will grow knowledge and skills in a comfortable, respectful, and engaging environment. Please understand this site is a work in progress and as the year progresses more content will be added for your benefit. Hopefully my site will provide you and your parents with a means of staying connected and up to date on classroom information.
A Bit About Me:

I graduated from Baptist College of Health Sciences with a Bachelor degree in Health Science. I then began my career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist @ LeBonheur Children's Hospital (the "Big Red Heart" of Memphis). This is my second year teaching high school Health Science classes and I truly enjoy the challenges and rewards this career offers. It is obvious that my heart is with working with children!

I am a native Memphian but now reside in Hernando, MS. I have 2 boys (13 &10). We have a "hobby farm" with goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, hogs, dogs, and a cat. We all enjoy being outside, fishing, and kayaking.
