Acting Honors (Period 6) Assignments

This course will provide an introduction to theatrical performance. Students will learn basic acting skills such as: improvisation, characterization, preparing a role and stage movement. Students will explore practical and theoretical approaches to acting. This course will require after school and weekend commitments. As part of the course requirements, students will be required to attend and critique live theatrical performances that occur outside class time. This course will also require co-curricular after school/weekend hours devoted to the Panther Playhouse.
