AP Language and Composition (AP Lang) (Period 4th)

 Advanced Place Language and Composition is the first of two language arts classes offered by College Board. (The second is AP Lit & Comp taught in grade 12.) Students in this class have a greater focus on different modes of rigorous writing and on determining writer's purpose in light of a specific audience. Students will read American Literature but also focus on other texts that support the AP Test. Support and reinforcement for the ACT will be blended into the instruction. Students will write frequently and comprehensively.
