Meet Mr. Gideon - Assistant Principal:
Mr. Kevin Gideon is entering into his 5th year as an administrator at Bartlett High School. Prior to coming to Bartlett he taught United States history, African American history and Contemporary Issues. Mr. Gideon holds degrees from Rhodes College (B.A. History & Greek and Roman Studies) , Cumberland University (M.Ed. Teaching) University of Memphis (Ed.S. Administration) and currently is completing his Doctorate at the University of Memphis in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership with plans to graduate in 2016. Mr. Gideon’s responsibilities include all attendance matters, testing, student activities, School Improvement Plan, and teacher evaluations. Away from the school Mr. Gideon enjoys cooking (especially barbecue) and spending time with his family friends and three dogs.
