About me

Hello! My name is Cailin Kelly. I graduated with my degree from University of Memphis in 2016. I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T) in Special Education at Christian Brothers University in December 2018. I am excited to start my fourth year of teaching at Bartlett High School! English was always my favorite subject when I was in school. I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to teach English to a group of diverse learners. This year I am teaching English 10! Text to Speech for Macs!

Hello!
 
For those of you who prefer to have quizzes, assignments, tests, etc, read to you, there is an accessibility feature on your school computer.
 
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, then click Speech. Select the “Speak selected text when the key is pressed” checkbox. By default, speaking is enabled when you press Option-Esc.

Curve assessments have a timer at the bottom of your test/quiz. Please keep track of your time. Curve will kick you out of the assessment once time runs out.

Vocab 1-2

Don't forget the Vocab 1-2 quiz closes at 2 pm. If you start the quiz too late, it will kick you out!

Zoom Office Hours

I will be hosting Zoom office hours for extra support every Tuesday from 9:40- 10:15 am. These office hours are for any questions you may have or for additional support you may need. The Zoom link is posted on my Curve page. You may also email me for the Zoom link!
