Welcome to Chemistry 1! I am so excited to meet each of you and to explore the world of chemistry alongside of you. Please be ready to go from Day 1 as we have so much to explore. My goal for the end of the year is for each of you to be able to explain how chemistry applies to your daily life and to implement it in the future. Again, welcome to my class and prepare for many adventures in the 2020-2021 school year at Bartlett High School!
To give a brief introduction, my name is Mrs. Mann and I graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2015 and Southwest Baptist University in 2019. My undergraduate degree is in Chemistry and my master's degree is a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology degree from SBU. My husband, Coach Mann, teaches Biology at Arlington High School. We have 2 children, Jonathan (5) and Daniel (2), and as a family we love exploring the world around us through hiking, visits to the Memphis Zoo, playing disc golf, etc. I can't wait to hear the adventures you have experienced!
Please note that all important and daily items will be posted in Curve. Check it daily and frequently. If you're struggling with how to access Curve or any other online resource, see the "Links" page to the right.
