¡Bienvenidos a nuestra clase de español! Welcome to our Spanish class! 

My name is Orquidea Cristobal (Ms. Cristobal, Profe Cristobal or Señorita Cristobal to my students) 

I will be teaching Spanish 1 for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a year long course with one credit received towards the world language graduation requirements. Spanish 1 concentrates on vocabulary, pronunciation, and some grammar, with emphasis on written and verbal proficiency in Spanish. The course is designed to develop basic conversational skills in Español! We will also study the cultures and histories of Spanish speaking countries. I hope to give my students the strong foundation that they will need as they move up to the higher levels of Spanish.  As we embark on the journey to Spanish proficiency, we will need a lot of patience, discipline, determination, and fun! Learning a new language can be a beautiful thing if you are willing to put in the effort and try your best.
