SASA is a social/service club open to any student in grades 9 – 12.  The dues are $ 5.00 and this is returned to the student in the form of a $5.00 discount on Snowflake tickets the last week of ticket sales.  The social aspect of SASA is in the planning and production of Snowflake Dance, the winter prom that is open to grades 9 – 12.  The presiding group for SASA is the Steering Committee, a group of about 16 seniors who do all the work.  Juniors apply to Steering Committee in the late spring and are selected on the basis of a point system.  This group arranges fundraisers and raises money to pay the deposits for Snowflake and to help out with monetary help for those in the community who need it.
