Welcome

Welcome SENIORS - Class of 2024!!

I am thrilled to be your school counselor again this year and am looking forward to helping you in any way I can. This is my 16th year at Bartlett High School (18th year as a high school counselor) and I LOVE being a panther!

A little bit about me:  I received both my bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Tennessee (Go Vols) and am a Nationally Certified Counselor.  I am a Bartlett resident, have been married to my wonderful husband TJ for 13 years, and together we have 3 amazing kids.  Being a mom has been my greatest blessing and I always try to treat my students with the same love, respect, understanding, and expectations as I do with my own.

As your school counselor, I am here to be a resource for you and assist in academic advising and assistance, college/career readiness and any personal/social issues you may be facing.  I am here to help you and expect you to follow the 3 rules of self:  self-control, self-reliance, and self-advocacy.  Control your behavior, own your due dates and mistakes, and ask for help from your teachers (and me).

Throughout the school year, parents and students will receive a monthly newsletter, via email, from me containing a lot of guidance information. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have additional questions and/or need more information.  Please notify me if you do not receive these emails so that I may check my list.

I encourage each of you to give your all for Bartlett this year by joining a club, playing a sport, and/or volunteering in our community. See me if you’d like some suggestions for community service right here in Bartlett.

The guidance office is located in the Main Building, just past the Main Office.  If I am unavailable to meet with you when you come (with a hall pass from your teacher), please sign the book on my office door and I will call for you as soon as I am available. Parents, if you need to contact me or schedule a parent/teacher conference, feel free to call or email me.

 Let's have a GREAT year!
