Intro to Com. Arts (Speech)

This is, as the title suggests, an Introduction to Communication Arts.  This includes getting to know oneself, introducing others to ourselves, public speaking (making speeches) in front of a class (or this year, recorded and submitted), telling a school-appropriate joke, deciphering political communications, performing readers' theater, reciting poetry, writing and recording radio commericials, and filming a newscast...Whew!

 

This may sound like a bunch of stuff, but really most of the time, we are working on being excellent audience members together--accepting, grace-filled, encouraging audience members for fellow classmates who are all in different places in this educational journey.
