Welcome to the Health Science courses! I am excited to teach your student(s) all about health care. I hope your student walks away from this class with a clearer outlook on health care and what medical careers really do look like in the real world!



Virtual Students Zoom Guidelines

Virtual learners, it is mandatory for you to use zoom on Friday's during your scheduled class period time. Please look at the resource tab on my webpage for the class bell schedule. 
5th Period will zoom from 10:25-11:10
Tuesday: Optional Zoom from 7:00AM-7:30AM

Supply List

2020-2021 Supply Lists for Health Science, Medical Therapeutics, and Clinical Internship:
  • Ear buds (any brand. I highly recommend leaving AirPods at home so they are not stolen)
  • Flash drive 
  • Perforated notebook paper
  • writing utensil (your choice of pen or pencil. please no red or pink ink)
  • ****Binder- Clinical Internship class only******
  • Face Mask
Recommended but not required for in class
-Hand sanitizer (for your personal use)

Classroom Procedures and Rules:

Bell work will be completed at the beginning of class.

All worksheets or notebook paper must be perforated. Please include your name, date, and class period.

Be on time

Respect yourself and others

Follow all directions

Be prepared for class

Raise your hand to speak

No food or drinks in class; this includes candy and gum

No cheating or plagiarizing

No sleeping in class

No cell phones

Take care of personal business before class

Remain seated until the bell rings

Computers are expected to be charged and only used in class when directed to do so

Academic Expectations:

All students will demonstrate academic integrity.

Students will study material for class each night. 

Students will turn work in on time. 

Grading Scale:

90-100 A

80-89 B

70-79 C

65-69 D

<65 F
