Welcome to the Design Lab!

Welcome back students and parents! I am looking forward to another great year at Bartlett!


I have been teaching at BHS since 2016. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a web and print designer for local companies Speak Creative and S2N Design. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2010 with a BFA, concentration in graphic design. I have coached the freshmen volleyball team here since 2008. I am a 2005 graduate of Bartlett High School. Go Panthers!

Classroom Norms:

Students will respect the classroom equipment, each other, their teacher, and guests in the classroom.

Students may not have food or drink in the classroom, except for a water bottle with a top that is kept on the floor.


Classroom Policies:

Tardies: Punctuality is important. I will follow the tardy policy set by Bartlett High School. 1 tardy - student conference. 2 tardies - call home. 3 tardies - referral.

Missed work: When a student is absent, she/he must show initiative in finding out what was missed and completing the missed work on time. Students will have a 1 day allowance for each day of absence to complete their missed work.

Late work: 10% will be deducted for each day that an assignment is late, up to a 50% deduction.
