Overview:

Culminating the rock information from last week gathered from the slides, this week we will create posters.  Well, illustrations of the rock cycle.  You will need to review the rubric and be sure to incorporate all the terms required.  Some additional independent study will be necessary to do a perfect job. Then, we will watch a movie on dirt called “Dirt”. It is PG and while a little weird really covers the importance of our top layer of the lithosphere.

Week at a Glance:

19 Jan – All students review and start their Rock Cycle Poster.

20 Jan – Continue working on your Rock Cycle Poster. Due Thursday

21Jan – Watch the “Dirt” movie and complete the movie worksheet. The film and sheet go in line and if you miss a part, you can independently just go back.  We will watch it starting Thursday and finish it during Zoom.  All students can Zoom in for both days if you want. I will open it and share it over Zoom.

22 Jan – Part II of the “Dirt” film and complete the worksheet. Study for a Rock Cycle Quiz coming next week Monday.
