Chemistry is the study of the properties of matter and the changes it undergoes with an emphasis on quantitative and critical thinking skills using laboratory activities, class discussions, and projects.

There will be a $10 lab fee to cover the cost of lab materials used throughout the year. We also strongly recommend that every student purchase their own set of safety goggles for use during labs. Please see the file "Safety Goggle Purchase Links" in the "Files" section on the right side of this page for information and suggested purchase options.
