Sobre mi - About Me

Hello students and parents! 

My name is Orquidea Cristobal. Fun Fact: My name is the Spanish translation of the flower Orchid.  My family and I are from Michoacán, Mexico. I have lived in Memphis for most of my life so I am happy to call it home as well. I graduated from the University of Memphis with my Bachelor of Arts. I also graduated from UofM with my Master of Arts in Teaching. Go Tigers! I am so excited to start another of teaching at Bartlett High School. I love spending my free time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, reading a good book, going to support my favorite sports teams, and binge watching my favorite shows.  I love learning about new cultures and I have a big passion for Spanish literature and history. I hope to help my students develop a love and interest for the Spanish language as they embark on their own journey to language proficiency.
