Nutrition Across the Lifespan
Nutrition Across the Lifespan is a course for students interested in learning more about a healthy diet as well as pursuing a career in foods, such as becoming a dietitian, nutritionist, counselor, or pursing a variety of scientific, health, or culinary arts professions, as well as learning basic cooking techniques.
The nine weeks grades will be calculated using these weights
40% Daily Work 20% Test/quizzes 30% Projects/Cooking Labs 10% Professionalism
Required Materials
- There is a course fee of $25 for this class
- Students will need a school issued laptop and writing utensils to be successful in class.
- While in the lab, students will be required to wear closed-toe, non-skid shoes, and hair must be pulled back or covered. Ball caps or scarves may be worn during labs, be cannot be worn out of the classroom due to dress code violations.
