Bartlett High School is pleased to announce Tia LaShun Dubose has been selected as one of Memphis Business Journal's "Girls Who Mean Business" for 2021.

Tia, a Class of 2021 graduate, is an exceptional student, earning a 4.3878 weighted grade point average, challenging herself with Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, and Honors courses throughout her time at Bartlett. She is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and served as historian of Health Occupation Students of America last year. Tia also gives freely her time to volunteer programs such as Ave Maria nursing home, "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" domestic violence awareness event, and Halal food pantry distribution. Tia was chosen for Bridge Builders, a group of diverse high school students brought together to improve the community and co-created and co-hosted a human trafficking awareness event.

Tia plans to pursue a career in the medical field at Dillard University, but she also has an entrepreneurial spirit, starting a small self-care business called Calmani. The idea came from her own struggles with stress and anxiety, coupled with wanting to provide a healthy outlet for stress relief to her peers.

Congratulations, Tia! Your Bartlett family is proud of you!
