1:1 Technology Initiative
We’re pleased to be recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2023–2026 for inspiring, imagining, and impacting teaching and learning schoolwide through continuous innovation.
Our Story
Bartlett High School has been a 1:1 Apple School since 2016, one of the first schools in the MidSouth area to make the leap! Each student is issued a MacBook Air starting in 6th grade and teachers are encouraged to utilize technology in all aspects when cultivating their classroom environments. From Kindergarten, students begin using iPads to film and edit projects; students also use desktop computers and laptops to test skills and practice writing. From the first years of learning, to the last days before graduation, technology has been ingrained in our school culture long before remote learning became the norm. And in remote learning, our teachers and students did not buckle, but further embraced technology in creating accessible, fun and SAFE learning environments for all.
