Meet the Teacher

¡Hola estudiantes! Me llamo Tina y mi apellido es Schreiber.  Ustedes me pueden llamar Profe o Profe Schreiber o Señora Schreiber.  I am super excited to be teaching at the high school level for another year after 2 years teaching Spanish 1 honors and Spanish Exploratory at Elmore Park Middle.  Before that I taught 21 years at Overton High school where I taught Spanish 1-3.

I lived in Mexico for 6 years as a missionary working with churches and street youth which is how I learned my Spanish. I received my BA at Blue Mountain College and my Masters in Secondary education as well as 30+ Spanish masters level hours at the University of Memphis. 

I grew up in Bartlett and I am a 1986 graduate. My family lives here and my husband is Dr. Schreiber who teaches Dual enrollment Pre-Cal  /Pre-Cal/AP Calculus at Bartlett High.  I have a daughter who will be beginning her senior year of college at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. My whole family lives here in Bartlett. 

I love teaching and love being with students as well as doing Crossfit with my Family. My secret hobby is that I am a Mexican Folk art artist Me encanta viajar, hacer ejercicios y levantar pesas. ¿Qué te gusta hacer?
