   Prereading activity and watch powerpoint on Superstitions.

                                            Turn in guided notes on Superstitions.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 22  -  Complete Voc. 3-2

Students may make vocabulary flashcards for extra credit on this week’s  

          vocabulary quiz.  Vocabulary flashcards are due Thursday, Aug. 24.

Introduce Gothic Literature and the elements of Gothic Literature – Analyze Craft

         and Structure

 Read “The Monkey’s Paw” and annotate elements of Gothic Literature that are

          found in the story.

  Complete the Gothic Literature elements chart and turn in.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 23  -  Complete Voc. 3 – 3 sentences.

                                        Complete Theme and Mood worksheet to accompany

                                         Quiz over “The Monkey’s Paw”

Bring fully charged computers to class tomorrow.
