Monday, Sept. 4  -  Labor Day  - No School today

 

Tuesday, Sept. 5  -  Complete Voc. 5-1. 

                                 Students will read “The Feather Pillow.”  Students will

annotate as they read and answer the guided questions.

                                                     

Wednesday, Sept. 6 -   Complete Voc. 5 – 2.

                                       Students may make vocabulary flashcards for extra credit                                                  

                                           on this week’s vocabulary quiz.  Flashcards will be checked Thursday,

                                           Sept. 7.                                              

                                       Students will finish guided questions for “The Feather Pillow” and turn in. 

                                           Due at the end of class.                                                           

Thursday, Sept. 7  -  Complete Vocabulary 5 – 3 and 5 – 4

                                       Vocabulary 5 flashcards are due today for extra credit.

                                       Students will read “The Landlady” and annotate as they read .                                                                                          

Friday, Sept. 8  -  Vocabulary 5 Quiz

                                 Students will complete a writing assignment to accompany the reading of

                                    “The Landlady” on Turnitin found on Canvas.

 

Students will be given Grade Recovery opportunities for Vocabulary and the different Short Stories.  Completed assignments due Mon., Oct. 2.
